Robo Tot
In 2007 the Milken theater department decided that they wanted to do the Wizard of OZ as the play for that year. However when they got around to looking at how they would do this play they realized that they would have a problem with getting something to use as Toto. To fix this problem they asked the robotics team to help them and build a robot Toto out of vex.The team took this on and completed Toto and went to every show and the dress rehearsals, even thought the play took place in the middle of build season. The final version of Robo Toto could wag his tail, move his head and neck, bite, and move around on stage.

Science on Sundays
Science on Sundays is an event put on by the Mitchell Academy for Science and Technology to promote the different academy programs. The event is geared towards incoming elementary school students. The robotics team was featured on one of those Sundays. We showed off our 2006 FRC competition robot and let the kids work in groups to complete an assigned lego challenge.
